If you suffer with dry, gritty, watery or sore eyes, we run a dry eye clinic which gives you the time to discuss your symptoms with a clinician. you can BOOK ONLINE via the button above for an initial dry eye assessment in clinic.

We include various diagnostic tests to assess why you may be suffering with the symptoms you are experiencing, which we know can be incredibly uncomfortable. Using these tools and our expert knowledge, we aim to give you a plan to take home with knowledge and advice to ease your symptoms.

Dry Eye disease can affect 1/3 of us and often gets dismissed. We can offer clinical support as well as treatments to make life more comfortable.

Dry eye treatments can help to make your eyes feel more comfortable and get rid of any dry or flaky debris that may have built up in your eyelashes or in the corners of your eyes.

We deliver Zest, Nulids and BlephEx treatments depending on your needs. Treatments are like eyelid ‘hygiene’ visits, designed to give your eyelids a thorough clean, removing debris from the lash line, reducing the inflammation and improving your overall eyelid health.

Treatment sessions lasts roughly 45 minutes and need to be assessed with a consultation beforehand in our dry eye clinic. If a treatment is indicated we examine and capture ‘pre’ and ‘post’ treatment images to assess the success. To best prepare the eye area we often recommended our pre-treatment heat application by wearing a pair of goggles which will gently emit warm heat onto your eyes for 10 minutes, the heat helps to gently loosen and debris from the eyelids and eyelashes to make the treatment more effective.

After your treatment we will discuss best aftercare and follow up with a report which we email or print out for your daily hygiene routine based on the examination.
Most patients benefit from a 6 monthly hygiene visit for their eyes and some opt for more frequent visits.

Blepharitis

Blepharitis and demodex can cause irritation and inflammation around the eyes and eyelids. This can be dry, itchy, flaky and sore.

We can offer management of blepharitis which can be a long term issue, as well as in practice treatments to give a deep clean of the eyelids.

Eye Drops

We stock a range of eyedrops that can help with dry eyes. Whether you need a barrier to reduce evaporation, keep them fresh whilst using screens or more intense lubrication to protect the cornea we advice based on what we find in our clinical assessment.

IPL

IPL (intense pulsed light) technology can give chronic dry eye sufferers a new level of relief lasting longer and going deeper to assist with getting back to a lifestyle where eyes feel more comfortable and fresher.
